Who we are

Gacha Kingdom is a sole proprietorship trading from Johannesburg. The person who operates the Platform is our Information Officer under POPIA. If you want to make a request, use one of the forms below or email us directly.

Form 1 — Objection to processing

Use this form if you want us to stop processing your personal information, or to stop a particular kind of processing. If you object and the law does not require us to continue, we stop. This form is free, and we do not require you to give a reason.

1. Your full name, as it appears on your account, and the email address on the account;
2. The specific processing you object to. If you are not sure, write “all processing” and we will ask you what you want stopped;
3. Whether you want the processing stopped completely, or only for a particular purpose such as marketing;
4. The date on which you want us to act, if you want a specific date. Otherwise we act as soon as we can;
5. Your signature, or a typed name if you are sending this by email.

Send it to gachakingdomsupport@gmail.com with the subject line “POPIA objection”, or post it to the address in section 14 of our Privacy Policy.

Form 2 — Correction or deletion of personal information

Use this form if you want us to correct something we have wrong about you, or to delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep. This form is free.

1. Your full name, as it appears on your account, and the email address on the account;
2. Whether you want a correction or a deletion;
3. If a correction: the information we hold that is wrong, and what it should say instead;
4. If a deletion: the specific information you want deleted, and why you believe we should not keep it;
5. Your signature, or a typed name if you are sending this by email.

Send it to gachakingdomsupport@gmail.com with the subject line “POPIA correction” or “POPIA deletion”.

We keep some records even after a deletion request, because the law requires us to. Transaction records are kept for 5 years for tax and audit purposes. Where we keep a record for that reason, we remove your personal details from it and keep only what the law requires, so the record stays useful for the auditor without still being about you.

What happens next

1. We acknowledge your request by email as soon as we can, and we confirm we have understood it;
2. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, so that nobody else can ask us to delete your information;
3. We tell you in writing what we did within 30 days of the outcome of our checks;
4. If we refuse a request, we tell you why, and how to complain to the Information Regulator.

Getting a copy of what we hold

To ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, email gachakingdomsupport@gmail.com with the subject line “POPIA access request”. We will send you what we hold. You can also see most of your own information in your account at any time, at your profile.

Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw consent for marketing or for non-essential cookies at any time. For cookies, use the Cookie Settings button at the bottom of any page. For marketing, email us and we will stop.
